The Broker - What It Is
TabTrade.com opened in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.
That last detail is relevant. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is better than someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something this new, the breadth is not narrow.
The Software
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be in the works. That would make the platform set when it arrives.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your real cost can be under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
This is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform quote 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That is something about priorities.
Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Now, the thing that requires honesty. TabTrade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for Equinix connectivity. That does not guarantee anything. It should factor into your decision.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that is worth it is your call.
